BERLIN ROTARY DONATES TO KENYA ORPHANAGE TO HELP WATER PROJECT

At a recent meeting of the Berlin Rotary general membership Dr. Paul Nelsen updated the club on his work to bring clean water to a Kenya Orphanage.

Billions of people lack access to safe drinking water and proper sanitation.  Launched in 2009, Rotary International and local clubs such as Berlin’s work to implement long-term, sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene projects in the developing worlds.  With this collaboration, Rotary is taking the commitment to clean water and sanitation to the next level with the assistance of Ripon Rotarian Dr. Paul Nelsen.  Berlin Rotary has committed a monitary donation of $250.00 towards this project.  This is just one of many examples of how the members of Berlin Rotary reach out and help throughout the world.
