March/April Students of the Month Honored
Berlin Rotary honored the March and April Students of the Month at it’s general membership meeting on Monday. Representing the March Students was Courtney Clewien. Courtney is the daughter of Bill and Nancy Clewien. Her scholastic highlights includes being a member of the National Honor Society, receiving superior honors all four years of high school and ranking fourth scholastically, in her class. Her extra curricular activities include being the commissioner of the L.I.N.C. Crew, team captain and state qualifier for the high school swim team. Courtney is planning on attending the U.W.-La Crosse to pursue a nursing degree or biology major. Courtney would like to become a nurse anesthetist or physician’s assistant. Also representing the March Student of the month but unable to attend the meeting was Corey Van Egeren, the son of Susan Van Egeren.
Representing April’s Students of the Month is Rachel Hietpas and Greg Stellmacher.
Rachel is the daughter of Dan and Monica Hietpas. Her scholastic highlights include being on the honor role, lettering in Academics and participating instate Forensics. Rachel’s extra curricular activities include participating in the Battle of the Books, volleyball and softball. She is planning on attending the U.W.-Stevens Point to pursue a Masters Degree in speech and language pathologist.
Greg Stellmacher is the son of Larry and Connie. His scholastic highlights include being on the honor role and participating in the Academic Decathlon. Greg’s extra curricular activities includes playing on the soccer team for three years where he became the high scorer two years in a row and was named All Conference. Greg has also participated on the track team and was the L.I.N.C. Crew commissioner. After high school Greg is planning on attending the U.W.-Green Bay for physical therapy.
