Berlin Rotary President-Elect Wayne Banaszak is the next Rotarian in a series of “Know your Brelin Rotary Members” to enlighten the club of his biography.
Wayne graduated U.W.-Oshkosh with a degree in Art with a minor in Art Education. He later earned a degree in Computer Language. Wayne’s first teaching job was at Hortonville High School and took on the duties of coaching track and basketball for 25 years. Wife Paula was a Physical Education teacher.
After 25 years of teaching and coaching Wayne and his wife Paula started their own needlework business out of their home in Cedarburg. Wayne invented a needlework frame that they currently use today. The business is evolved to what is known today as Images Stitchery Designs. Wayne and Paula moved their business to Berlin and currently wholesale to manufacturers around the world.
This is the second time that Wayne has joined the Berlin Rotary Club as he and his wife took a hiatus to travel the United States for their business. Wayne has held the office of Secretary previously and is the new President-Elect, which will take over for the current President Marc Teurbert in July.
